This is WCA's story.

One day look woke up and he was hungry. He wanted pizza. He went to go buy a pizza. But he didn't have enough money. He got a job at a pizza place. He got enough money to buy pizza. He was so hungry he ate it in one bite. Then he went to sleep for 100 years. When he woke up he went for a walk. Then realized he lost a tooth then he went to where he was sleeping and found a dollar. With the dollar he bought a pizza and lived happily ever after.

This is Mark Clark's story.

There once was a mean monster. who lived in the land of snowy times.

Every day he would go down to the snowy village and terrorize the

Villagers. But on one fine day which was going to be turned bad

By the evil monster greedy. Along came a mighty and brave warier

Named Mohasco went to the village of snowy times after the people

Greeted him the monster came to the village Mohasco drew his sword

And attacked the monster and after the battle the monster ran away

And was never seen again.   

This is Collin Stanley's story.

 

Once  upon  a  time  there  was  a  sninaecorn  . He  was  not  like  the  other  ones  he  was  nice.  One  day  he  was  sitting  in  his  living  room  watching  the  news  when  it  said  Megazilla  attacked  Tokio  today  so  he  flew  to  Tokio.

About  two  hours  later  he  finaly  got  there  and  started  fighting  Goddzila  and  suddenly after  Snienaecorn  bit  him  with  his  poisen  fangs  he  died.

This is ELB's story.

Warning, monster on the lose. This thing will live for 200 year old at least.

 

TheWierd Monster likes to eat pizza, so all people that like pizza look out because he will bite you.  It will take football from you .It likes to shoot people with its venom. The Weird Monster has been reported  in the mountains near a cave on the east side of mountains.Apartently just a second ago somebody reported that it just killed three people and crushed there house. It killed the people by shooting some of it’s venom out it’s long green tail.    

Jamie's Monster

Once there was a monster named Sam . He was nice sometimes , but
not to people he didn’t know . Like for instance once he smashed a
house because someone took a tail feather. But he can be nice too, like
his mom ,Criss who puts on all of his glasses,and Mr. Doug who feeds him
.But one day things changed Sam got sick .He didn’t like people he
didn’t know , like the doctor he had only had been sick once more in
his life. But he got better .So his mom called the doctor while he was
sleeping ,she had a plan . Finaly Dr.Jeff had came . He came in
quietly .He checked his through , he almost woke up ! He checked his
temperature , he checked ears .Then Dr.Jeff gave him a shot , then Sam
woke up! But his mom knew Sam would be to tired to chase him . Dr.Jeff ran out .And that’s Sam’s story.

You better watch out he’s common your way ! says one Tokyo reporter the GIGANT  Mike is coming to New York ! and he’s bringing all of his friends with him witch means 12 time s  the trouble !his friends & him are walking through the Atlantic ocean  and the water only comes  up to his ankles! And the worst part is that Mike has a very big sense of humor he will laugh so hard and so loud that he laugh the whole city to peaces .

KC destroyed  the army of Mexico then he destroyed New Orleans he shoots fire balls all over the United States.

The Humble Monster

A buffer is a horrible sight,

It leaves many people screaming in fright.

One day the buffer went to Rome

To see his friend bathing in melted chrome.

All of the city was in ruins

Except for a couple of lousy old screw ends.

O dear said the buffer, what a mess

I'd better clean it up never the less.

This is Bozo.

Bozo ate up all the people in Tokyo! He stepped on all the cars and buildings.

Then ate lots of hamburgers. Then went home to take a nap for a long time.

Then he woke up. Then he ate bacon and eggs. He went outside and stomped on China.

Then he stomped on The Great Wall of China. China shot him because destroyed The Great Wall of China .  China shot missiles at Bozo and burned him.

This is Ashlyn

Once upon a time there was a monster the monster’s name is Ashlyn.  The monster favorite food is pizza and oranges.  She likes to play with her friends.  One day Ashlyn was playing with her friend.  Ashlyn and her friends went out for diner and when they got home they went to sleep.  In the morning Ashlyn played with her friend all day.

This is Troy's story.

My monster is called Dragoon. It is friendly and it has a family. It is everybody’s friend. It is a boy and it lives in a cave. It’s a dragon. He is 10. It is strong. He is smart. He was born alive and he doesn’t have a favorite book. He sometimes lives in trees. It doesn’t like mean people and vegetables because he is a carnivore!     

WOW!!!  Audacity is REALLY cool!  How easy!  It's really easy to record and then save the file.  Then, the really neat thing is that we can export the file as a mp3 file so that we can email it or post it here in our podcast!  That will be tomorrow!  Tomorrow, we're supposed to have our stories finished so we can get them typed and then printed off for the print version.  After that, we're each going to record our own story with Audacity and then Marsha is going to post them here in our podcast!  How cool!

Everyone managed to record the pen name we chose and why we picked that name. Then, we used our email account to send it to our partner.  That was fun!  We got to listen to our partner and what they recorded.  Cool!  When we left today, we took papers home so that we can download Audacity at home and use it there.  This way, if we have relatives out of the area, we can send audio messages to them through the email and they can actually hear what we have to say instead of read a message.  AND, they don't have to have any special program to listen.  If they want to send us a message back, they just need to download Audacity and get (or use) a computer microphone.

YEA!!  Snakes and owls and hawks!!  What better friends for our monsters than creatures some people consider being monsters!  We spent the first hour and a bit in the Ed Center watching the program presented by the Shawnee National Forest.  We got to touch the snakes!!!  Cool!  Well, for most of us, that is. 

After the program, we went to our lab for snacks and then we talked about Pen Names.  Do you know the real names for some of your favorite authors?  We learned about some important authors who did not use their real names for their writing.  We're going to use pen names for our stories too!  Tomorrow, we're supposed to have a name chosen and then we're going to go on with writing our stories that we started today. 

Tomorrow, we're going to learn about a new computer program that we are going to use to record our podcast.  Audacity!  It sounds pretty cool!

We read the book, Greece! Rome! Monsters! on Monday to start our course.  From there, we each made our own monster!  What fun!!  Now, we're going to write a story/poem/article about our monster or something about our monster.  Today, we also logged into our own email accounts - a student safe email system that is available to schools throughout the country!  Pretty cool!

Tomorrow, we're going to see a program about Raptors and Reptiles then we have all sorts of stuff to do!
